The Diploma of Project Management will support individuals seeking to enhance, update and formalise their existing project management skills and knowledge. This qualification will equip you with the broad range of skills required to plan, lead, and execute the end-to-end delivery of projects. The program is aligned to the internationally recognised Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK ®) methodology and focuses on the application of best practice principles to project management within the workplace.
The program involves the completion of assessment and evidence gathering activities for twelve units of competency. The workshop content, learning activities and assessment tasks have been structured into five phases to provide a logical and manageable approach to the program content. Wisdom facilitators will guide you through these units sharing their expertise and using leading edge methodologies to create a fun and focused learning environment.

Upon successful completion of the program by meeting the assessment requirements for above competencies, Wisdom Learning will issue participants with a nationally recognised qualification for the Diploma of Project Management BSB50820.

Delivery
This course is delivered using blended delivery mode. The program uses a range of engaging educational tools and techniques to enrich your Wisdom learning experience. The program is led by a real facilitator in real time and uses virtual breakout rooms, group discussions, supporting digital resources and interactive tools such as whiteboards, quizzing and polling features to ensue collaborative learning.

- New Workers (employed less than three months full-time or twelve months part-time)
- Existing worker (employed for more than three months full-time or twelve months part-time) in an occupation that is identified on the ACT Skills Needs list.
Employees working in a project management role within the ACT may be eligible to complete this qualification under an apprenticeship/traineeship pathway.
Fees paid in advance
Wisdom do not collect fees paid in advance from individuals for more than $1,500. If you are an individual enrolling in this training program, please ensure you select the ‘Tentative Enrolment’ option. As an individual fee-paying participant Wisdom requires an initial payment of $1,500 to be paid in advance of your training program. Please proceed to complete the enrolment process and a Wisdom team member will contact you to arrange payment of the $1,500 deposit and arrange schedule for remaining fees.
ACT User choice Funding opportunity
Australian Apprenticeships in the ACT are funded by the ACT and Australian Governments. Wisdom is an approved training provider for BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management course under Australian Apprenticeship/Traineeship in the ACT.
Employees working in a project management role within the ACT may be eligible to complete this qualification under an apprenticeship/traineeship pathway. Please check the eligibility criteria below and ensure you meet the requirements to undertake this course under Apprenticeship/Traineeship pathway.
ACT Apprentice/Trainee eligibility requirement
To be eligible for an ACT training contract to undertake this course under ACT User choice Australian Apprenticeship/Traineeship, the trainee;
- must work for an ACT employer (Employer must have a physical address in the ACT, not just a PO Box)
- be at least 15 years old
- be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or New Zealand passport holder who has been a resident in Australia for more than 6 months, or an eligible visa holder
- receive remuneration for their work
- complete a minimum of 15 hours combined work and training per week
- have the required supervision in the workplace
Australian Apprentice/Trainee's Training Contracts in the ACT are managed by Apprentice Connect Australia Network Providers. There are two Providers contracted in the ACT region. They are MAS National and MEGT. You can choose either of the providers to begin your Australian Apprenticeship training contract.
