Program Overview

The Services Australia Managing Investigations Program (PSP50416 Diploma of Government Investigations) is designed to build and develop the skills and knowledge required to coordinate multiple investigations, including leading and managing investigative teams, in a government or regulatory compliance environment. The program will upskill senior members who are managing investigations across key development areas including: 

  • Leading and managing teams of investigators within the Commonwealth Government investigations framework. 

  • Planning and managing across multiple investigations and teams, including Services Australia personnel and partner agencies. 

  • Liaising across key partner and stakeholder departments & agencies in the pursuit of operational and judicial outcomes. 

  • Planning, allocating and reporting on investigation resources. 

  • Quality assuring investigations. 

  • Supporting investigators with supervision, coaching and mentoring. 

  • Making defensible decisions in the context of leading and managing investigations. 

  • Building a culture of professional performance across investigations teams. 

  • Supporting continuous improvement through review and evaluation of investigations processes and practices.
