Investigator Development Program
This program is designed to upskill investigators in key components of investigative best practice. For experienced investigators, it is an opportunity to refresh and update your skills; for those newer to investigations, it is an opportunity to get your career off to a flying start by developing your investigative mindset and practice, and developing professional habits while earning a nationally recognised qualification.

Core Units
Upon successful completion of the program by meeting the assessment requirements for above competencies, Wisdom Learning will issue participants with a nationally recognised qualification for the PSP40416 Certificate IV in Government Investigations.
Wisdom offers all prospective learners Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and credit transfer (CT).
RPL is an assessment process that recognises current skills and experience gained from work, life experience, or formal study.
The assessment process will involve you collecting evidence against the requirements of the units of competency. Your assessor will support you to gather this evidence and will then examine the evidence you provide to prove you have the necessary knowledge and skills for RPL. Your evidence can include:
The program will be delivered virtually with digital resources available to support your learning and assessment.
The program will commence in June 2025 and conclude within an estimated six-month period. The program will consist of an online induction and 15 digital workshops, supported by other assessment and learning activities, including study undertaken in your own time. The program schedule is outlined in the table below. This may be subject to change in which case you will be notified in advance via email.

Full Fee - $4,595 per person (GST free)
Eligible apprentice/trainee fee: $ 850/- (GST Free)
This fee is all inclusive. It includes tuition, learning materials, assessment, learner support, administration, and the issuing of a nationally recognised PSP40416 Certificate IV in Government Investigations.
New Workers - Employed with the organisation for less than three months full-time or twelve months part-time/casual equivalent, up to the commencement date of the training contract.
Australian Apprenticeships in the ACT are funded by the ACT and Australian Governments. Wisdom is an approved training provider for the PSP40416 Certificate IV in Government Investigations course under Australian Apprenticeship/Traineeship in the ACT.
To be eligible for an ACT training contract to undertake this course under ACT User choice Australian Apprenticeship/Traineeship, the trainee;
Australian Apprentice/Trainee's Training Contracts in the ACT are managed by the Apprentice Connect Australia Network Providers, who will assess and determine your eligibility criteria. There are two Providers contracted in the ACT region. They are MAS National and MEGT. You can choose either of the providers to begin your Australian Apprenticeship training contract.
