USI Information and requirement (not mandatory but recommended to inform prior)
What is a USI?
*The Commonwealth Government has brought in the Unique Student Identifier (USI) system for the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector. A USI is made up of ten numbers and letters and from January 1 2015 all students enrolled in a VET qualification (full or partial) must provide a USI to their registered training organization.
As a Registered Training Organization, Wisdom is required to collect and report learner's USI number under Commonwealth Legislation. It is also mandatory for all the learners enrolled in an accredited course to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) number. USI creates an online record of your Australian training achievements. If we don't have your USI record verified against our Student Management System, we will not be able to issue your certificates on completion, neither report your Training Activity to reflect in your USI Transcript.
Don’t have one?
Please visit www.usi.gov.au/ to create your USI.
Already have one?
If you think you already have a USI number from previous training, please visit https://www.usi.gov.au/faqs/find-your-usi to locate your USI.
Recognition of existing qualifications & prior learning
It is a requirement of the Standards for RTOs 2015 that all RTOs must offer RPL to a learner. Any special arrangements that RTOs may offer to facilitate RPL are to be described. If there are no special arrangements the following statement or similar can be used:
‘Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) will be offered to applicants at time of enrolment.’

The Wisdom Way learning model includes:
Digital Workshops: Interactive facilitator led sessions (not e-learning) that enables structured learning of key program content. Digital workshops recreate the face-to-face Wisdom learning experience using a range of facilitation techniques and engagement tools. Digital platforms will also be used to engage participants at regular intervals throughout the program in informal and formal workshops. All digital workshops will be conducted using MS Teams.
Learning Support Sessions: Facilitator led sessions throughout the program which can be tailored to the needs of the participants. These sessions can be used to support assessment tasks, clarify information covered during the workshops, introduce topical issues that arise between workshops or engage in discussion with the participants on topics of their choice relating to the program. Break-out rooms will provide an opportunity for participants to engage with a facilitator one on one if required or for small groups who want assistance to engage with the facilitator.

myWisdom: The myWisdom online learning space provides participants with the opportunity to access resources, complete/upload assessment tasks, undertake learning activities, collaborate and reflect throughout the duration of the program.

Networking & knowledge sharing: Participants in the program will enhance learning through sharing knowledge, experience and resources within and outside the workshops. Participants will be encouraged and supported to network outside of the classroom to augment learning and knowledge sharing and the development of sustainable networks and collaborative professional relationships.
Readings & other resources: Participants will be provided with resources that underpin learning and provide the depth and breadth of the program’s content. Readings and resources will reflect contemporary theories, models, best practice guidelines and leading practice.
Workplace tasks & activities: Participants will undertake a range of practical tasks and activities relevant to the NDIA and their own workplace. These tasks and activities will form many of the assessment requirements for the program.

 Attendance requirements
This program includes assessment and learning activities built into all workshops and contributions during workshops will directly contribute to assessment. Observation Assessment will occur in the workshops also. For this reason, non-attendance or partial attendance, may require that additional assessment activities be completed in order that competency requirements are met.
Working with others and assisting them as a member of a group is one way of demonstrating some of the required skills and knowledge for this program.
The client has determined attendance is mandatory for this qualification as it is an intrinsic part of the AGAP participants employment is related to.

Assessments information
Successful completion of the program will result in the awarding of the PSP50122 Diploma of Government.  For further information relating to the qualification, click here https://training.gov.au/training/details/PSP50122/qualdetails
Assessments will consist of written assignments, group research and presentations, written reports and simulated activities across the four blocks of learning.  Participants will also complete simulated activities and discussion under observation by an assessor. Assessment has been incorporated into the design and delivery of the program, with the workplace providing up to four hours per week in addition to scheduled workshops, to complete assessments.  Wisdom uses a learning management system called Axcelerate, which we refer to as ‘myWisdom’, this will ‘house’ all learning materials, the simulation resources, and assessments. This site can be accessed through any laptop that has internet access.  Participants required a laptop during the program to access the learning resources and complete assessments.
