Cyber capability

Cyber security awareness training.

Awareness built around your systems and threats, assessed and measured.

Build the cyber capability your people need to protect systems, information and operations.

The challenge.

Cyber risk is a workforce issue as much as a technology one. Every staff member needs to recognise and respond to threats in their own work, and some roles carry more risk than others.

  • Would staff recognise a phishing or social engineering attempt?
  • Do people report suspicious activity quickly?
  • Do privileged users understand their extra obligations?
  • Is information handled correctly across systems?
  • Do teams know how to respond to and escalate an incident?
  • Can you show behaviour is improving, beyond completion?

How we help.

Awareness programs built around your systems, your threats and the behaviours that create risk in your organisation, with assessment so you can see what changed.

  • Cyber capability needs analysis for technical and non-technical roles
  • Cyber security awareness built around your systems, threats and obligations, including phishing, social engineering and information handling
  • Role-based training for managers, system owners and people with privileged access
  • Cyber incident scenario exercises that test how teams respond and escalate
  • Cyber capability frameworks and learning pathways

Why Wisdom Learning.

We treat cyber security as a workforce capability, as well as a technology control. Training is built around your systems, policies and the threats your people face, with scenario practice and evidence of what has changed.

In 62% of breaches a human element was involved (Verizon 2026 Data Breach Investigations Report), so awareness that changes behaviour is as important as technical controls.

Programs on this page are tailored capability development. They are not nationally recognised training unless a qualification or unit code is shown. Nationally recognised training is delivered and assessed by Wisdom Learning Pty Ltd, RTO 88062.

See the evidence.

Every case study on our Impact page is labelled with the strongest kind of evidence it has, so you can see what changed and how we know.

Questions about cyber awareness training.

Short answers to the questions organisations ask us about this work. If yours is not here, ask us.

What should cyber security awareness training cover?

The threats your people face, such as phishing, social engineering, credential theft and mishandled information, built around your own systems, policies and reporting arrangements, with role-based content for managers, system owners and privileged users.

Do you include phishing simulations?

We can build simulated phishing and incident scenarios into a program, agreed with your security team, so people practise recognising and reporting threats and you can measure change over time.

Do privileged users need different training?

Yes. People with administrative or privileged access carry greater risk and obligations, so they need targeted training on secure administration, access management and escalation.

How do you measure behaviour change?

We agree measures at the start, such as reporting rates, simulation results and assessment of capability, and report what changed and how we know, beyond completion records.

What does your workforce need to do differently?

Tell us about the capability you need to build and the environment it has to work in.
